Guests love the ANIMAL ENCOUNTER AREA, ANIMAL NURSERY, and PETTING ZOO where guests can pet a porcupine, skunk, woodchuck, bobcat, kangaroo, opossum, tortoise, armadillo, prairie dog, chinchilla, hedgehog, short-tail opossum, sugar glider, and much more. Guests love feeding the bears “Bear Juice” and hand feeding “critter crackers” to the Whitetail deer, camel, sheep, and goats.
NEW INTERACTIVE BUDGIE ENCOUNTER
This exhibit will allow visitors to get up-close and personal with 700 parakeets. Zoo visitors can roam among the parakeet aviary while the parakeets free fly throughout the exhibit. Visitors many also feed the birds with “feeding sticks” hold out a feed stick and you may have a budgie (parakeet) eating right out of your hand.

Wildwood is located two miles west of U.S. 51 on U.S. 70 in Minocqua. Open 7 days a week rain or shine at 9:00 A.M.
