Our principal, Ronald Zager, is a consultant to the chemical and allied industries. As an expert in the aroma chemical, fluorochemical, fine chemical, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries, he has helped clients solve problems in chemical manufacture with an emphasis on developing or improving processes. A graduate of Brooklyn College with an MS in Chemistry from Stevens Institute of Technology, he has over thirty years of diversified corporate and consulting experience in the chemical industry. His experience includes all phases of chemical manufacture, including development of analytical specifications, process research, optimization, scale-up, and production.

Prior to founding Ronald Zager Associates LLC in 1989, Mr. Zager served as Technical Director at the New Jersey manufacturing facilities of International Flavors and Fragrances, Inc. for 12 years. He was responsible for all technical and analytical functions at that site. Before that, he held managerial and technical positions at Givaudan, Tenneco Chemicals, Halocarbon Corporation, and Pfizer.

As a consulting chemist, he has served for two years as the President of the Association of Consulting Chemists and Chemical Engineers. In addition, he has participated as an overseas consultant for the United Nations "Unistar" program in India, and lectured on "Efficient Manufacturing Techniques" in the Graduate Business Program at Monmouth University in New Jersey.

Our Senior Associate, Gerald Vernice, has worked with large international companies in the Pharmaceutical, Fluorine, Chemical, Flavor and Biofuels industries. He has held senior technical management positions for over 25 years. His most recent position was as Director of North America
