The Meadows, a 101-bed private behavioral health care facility on a beautiful 52-acre rural campus, is located in Central Pennsylvania. As an integrated behavioral health care delivery system, the Meadows provides comprehensive services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults.

Universal Community Behavioral Health, Inc. is the continuum of care system that The Meadows founded in July 1999. The facility recognized some of the challenges in rural areas surrounding the hospital and began a mission to extend behavioral health services by developing an array of programs based on community need throughout surrounding counties. Programs include telephone and mobile crisis, outpatient therapy and medication management, partial hospitalization for children and adolescents, behavioral health rehabilitative services (BHRS), blended case management, peer support services, and family based mental health.
