Buffomatic Transmission

I was stranded 143 miles from home & stopped in here for help. My Catalytic conv was bad. Sean, the owner, told me that my car needed a new one, of course and told me that he needed 4 days to get the parts to fix it. He then told me it would be $2700!! I said NO WAY, my car isn't even worth that much, so he got it down to $1500, claiming that I didn't need the new muffler after all. It was the holiday weekend so I had to leav my car there, get a rental and finish the next 200 miles to my mom's without my car. I decided to have my car towed to another shop the next week and THAT shop told me that they would clean out my enigine and send me on my way-didn't know I could drive it without the cat conv. That shop charged me $89 and had it done in a few hours, where SEAN had my car for 3 days, made me wait 6 hours, charged me $216 and did NOTHING for me. He lead me to believe that my car was not functional and so I wasted a ton of money on a rental for a wk as he tried to get a job!
